Job Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for web hosting, domain, and server-related issues
  • Troubleshoot Linux/Windows server problems
  • Manage shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting environments
  • Handle DNS, SSL, email, and website configuration issues
  • Monitor server performance and resolve downtime incidents
  • Assist customers via ticket, chat, and email support
  • Maintain documentation for support procedures

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and basic Windows Server
  • Experience with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or similar control panels
  • Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, and MySQL
  • Basic knowledge of web servers (Apache/Nginx)
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of Docker and virtualization (KVM/VMware)
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python)

Experience

  • Assist in managing and monitoring hosting servers (Linux/Windows) to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Provide technical support for web hosting issues including domains, DNS, email, SSL, and control panels (cPanel/Plesk).
  • Help troubleshoot server, website, and application-related issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Perform basic server maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security checks.
  • Document support cases, solutions, and learn best practices in server administration and customer support.
